Lesson nine

To start the class, students were asked to stand up and made a line; then, teacher said said the words Land and sea, and students jumped to each side according to what they listened.














Then, teacher Enma formed a circle on the foor by the teachers and the students, Teacher Enma showed flash cards of the family members (mother, father,sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother) were introduced by the teacher; also, each name of the family member was saying by the teacher and students had to repeat as many times as necessaty, the teacher presented the question who is he/she?









 
After that, a page with six squares and name of the family members was giving to students with little pictures by the teacher, each picture was pasted in each square by students, then teacher pasted a poster on the board, and teacher gave the flash cards to students, and they pasted on the poster













At the end, students draw a family member and went to the board to presented it

Lesson eight

At the beginning of the class students played the game called: sharks are coming, students walked around the classroom, when the teacher Flor said "sharks are coming" students asked "how many?" the students who lost was going to answererd some questions that teacher asked.











Teacher Luisa introduced the activity mention that the class was going to have a trip to Bermuda that was why students must know what activities they could do there.So, the class had received a package containing images and words.




















Teacher Flor was going to provide a page for reading to each student. they had a little time to read. Then, the reading had to be reading by some students aloud. After that, they talked with a partner what was the reading about. Later on, they did some exercises to practice.






Also, students worked in trios and they presented a short presentation about what places they liked to visit in the country? and why? and which activities can they do there?






 


at the end, students played a game called "hot ballon" of three different colors. Students passed them around while the teacher was counting, when the teacher stops. She said any color of the ballon and the person who had it, was going to answer a question

Lesson seven

Teacher´s name: Cristian Adonay Avila Rivas

                         Gabriela Irene Paredes
Skill: Listening

 



To begin the class Teacher Adonay explained the activity.Teacher Adonay gave to representative of each group a verb; students had to made the mimics for them, classmates guess which verb was represented in the mimic












 
 

Then it was my turn to present 5-6 words using flashcards, students had the opportunity to pronounce the new vocabulaty as many time as possible after me.








 



Besides, Students listened a story then, they had to discuss with a partner 
about what happened in the story, Teacher Adonay asked questions about story,












Teacher Gaby gave to the students a worksheet with questions about the previous listening. Students answered the questions, and then the had to comparte the answer with another partner; after that Teacher Gaby gave to students an envelope with the letters of the words that they studid in the previous stage. Students needed to put the letters in order to form the word

Lesson six

Teacher name: Lourdes Rodriguez
Skill: Grammar

Teacher Lourdes started with a warm up and consis to remember the previous class, she made two teams and everybody participated; also, she gave to students some pictures and students had to whispered and reported about what they were looking in the picture; then, teacher Lourdes played a game with students,she divided the class in two groups and teacher Lourdes said a sentence whispered to one of each group; then, students said that sentences to their partner and one had to write the sentence on the board.

 

Lesson five

Skills: Vocabulary

Objective: SWBAT identify and name 5 out of 8 detective words



Teacher Gladys started the class. For warm up activity students played a game called: "snakeword", everybody had to stand up and wrote on the board a word; then, other student had to continue with the final letter













After that, teacher Vanessa said to everybody sign with the fingerprint a page; then, she asked students to said the meaning of each word presented in class;also, teacher Vanessa said to students to repeat the new vocabulary, and everybody said each word.
Besides, teacher Jennifer said to everybody stand up and made a circle, she gave a paper ball to students, they had to pass it, the ball had some questions or words about the topic and each student had to guess



Teacher Enma and Gladys explained the cross word activity and students had to stand up and guess the word

Workshop

WORKSHOP

Teacher Geovanny suggested us to take off our shose and to start to walk around the room and smile at our classmates. Then, we made an activity with a balloon, and the balloon represented our lives, at the begining only we had to keep it with only one finger, next with two ando so on, at the end we kept the ballon with both hands. This class was so special for me because I appreciate the meaning of my life.

Also, we passed in front of our classmates and we said a story and a riddle, we practiced everything that we learned in the first class, and teacher Geovanny correct us some mistakes that we had in that class

At the end, we had a different class because teacher Geovanny played relaxing music and we had to give our classmates a massage, and when we finished to give them the massage, they had to give us a massages to. we usually do not do that


Lesson Four

For warm up activity Teacher Dennis gave students some pictures and students had to guest, what was the picture?; after that, Teacher Lourdes gave an article about how to make chocolate, and she said to students that read it, if someone had a mistake in pronunciation Teacher Lourdes correct that in the moment, and if someone did not know the word, she explained it.Also, Teacher Alexandra explained the exercise,she gave the same pictures of the warm up, and students had to stand up and pasted on the board, at the end of the excersice teacher Alexandra gave students the correct answer; finally, Teacher Felix said to students that started to talk with a partner about their favorite chocolate

This class started with a game for warm up activity, and Teacher Gladys divided the class in two groups, then one student for each group had to guess the word that was pasted on the blackboard.














Then, Teacher Jennifer asked about recommendations, and students started to discuss between each other and give recommendations about restaurants, malls, etc. After that, Teacher Vanessa give to students some recommendations.














Also, teacher Vanessa put an audio and give students papers to put in order the conversation , at the end teacher Glaldys explained the order of the papers and asked students to said the conversation

Workshop

the first part of the workshop


At first day of this workshop we did a lot of activities.First the teather teacher explained the instructions: we had to present us in front of everyone, and explain who am I?, why are you here? and others questions. Also, we wrote all the questions in a page and we answered in front of the classmates, that was an incredible experiences because all of us were so nervous, then teacher asked us to made couples and we had to start to try to talk without any word, sentences or sound only we had to use our body, after that we started to make sounds, at the end we could talk but in a difficult way because all my classmates were talking; it was a lot of noise. The next activity was to walked with a partner, but one with the eyes closed and the other had to guide only with a finger. We acquired more confidence when we did those excercises, and we felt so happy at the end of the excersice

Lesson Two

To start the class teacher Luisa told students to stand up and made two groups. Once they were divided, she explained the activity. Teacher pasted in the whiteboard some pieces of papers, then teacher say a verb and students had to run with a flypaper in their hands and put the flypaper in the word. The student that touched first the word was the winner.









Once the game was over the teacher started to explain the new topic with some examples










Then, teacher Luisa started to explain grammar with a poster, and teacher ask to students if they understood the topic.





After that, Tatiana did an excercise with the same poster and that was amazing because Teacher Tatiana was reciclyng

Lesson One

Topic: "Food Preparation"

Teacher´s name:   Adonay Avila

                           Gabriela Paredes
                           Mónica Cuéllar
Skills:  Vocabulary
        
 The topic of this class was "Food Preparation", teachers presented seven types of food preparation: Boil, Melt, Bake, Fry, Grill, Microwave, and Roast. To present this lesson teachers used materials like: Flash 
 cards, Poster and others.







To start the class teacher Gaby made a dynamic called: "singer, band or song", as a warm up in wich student had to write the name of the singer, band or song with the letter that teacher Gaby gave.
















  Then, for Presentation the teacher Adonay presented to the students the seven food preparation (pictures and name), and teacher Adonay explained pronounciation.











In the practice stage students were given pieces of paper where they had to find the seven words that teacher Adonay presented in Presentation.

Note: teacher Liliana was looking and helping each students




Teacher Monica Presented a poster with picture      ( the same pictures in the presentation with their names, but in a poster).






For wrap up, students played Hangman, and it was to interesting because students knew the words that they studied previously.

Hello!
My name is Mónica Beatriz Cuéllar Camacho, I am 21 years old, I am a student of  Licenciatura en Idiomas con Especialidad en Enseñanza at Don Bosco University. I like what involves dedication and effort, and my career means that. At the beginning was difficult because I have never thought I would come here, and I am so happy because this is my third year. Teaching Children is giving new knowledge and breaking barriers.

I want to enjoy every moment of my career, I am a person who loves to spend time with family and friends, also I started to do my social hours with children and they are awesome and change my day.
